According to Ordinance #172 ALL dogs and cats must be registered and receive a city license. Please return to City Hall by May 31, 2026 with a copy/proof of current rabies shot and registration fee. Registration not received by July 1, 2026 will be subject to a late fee of $3.00 for each month the payment is late and/or court costs and fines.

It is extremely important that the city have registration for dogs/cats so animals can be identified if lost or if issues arise with them as well to verify vaccinations for health and public safety reasons. This year we are also requesting that a photograph of your pet be on file to help identify when we cannot get close to catch the animal. Please email or drop off at City Hall.
