ORDINANCE SUMMARY

AN ORDINANCE DEFINING NUISANCES AND ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES IN THE CITY OF GORHAM, KANSAS AND REVOKING ORDINANCES 121 AND 141

On January 12, 2026, the Governing Body for the City of Gorham, Kansas, adopted Ordinance No. 226 which define public nuisances and establishes procedures for the abatement of nuisances and assessment of the costs of abatement in the City of Gorham.  This ordinance revokes ordinances 121 and 141.

Current Pet Registration is now open and due by May 31, 2025.  All animals with in city limits must be registered with the city and have a current rabies certificate on file at City Hall.
